I pray that you had a joyous Christmas season! Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the expressions of love, peace and joy that filled Christmas could remain in the world all through the year?
The Sheepfold is beginning its 40th year of service to women and children in desperate circumstances. We are committed to the salvation of every soul that comes under the shelter and protection of The Sheepfold, so that the love, joy, peace and hope of the gospel becomes available to them. Our Founder, Fran Lundquist’s daily Bible studies ensure the ladies receive the Good News every day.
Please accept our heartfelt thanks to all of you who have done so much for this ministry over the past 40 years. You are truly doers of the Word not just hearers only. When Jesus says on that final judgement day, “did you feed the hungry, did you give drink to the thirsty, did you clothe the naked and take in the stranger?” you will be able to answer, “Yes.”
As always, we count on your prayers for leadership and direction for the ministry. I pray the Lord will bless you and those you love.
Let us enter this year with praise for what God has done and faith for what He will do in 2019.

Denise’s Story
The First Sheepfold Shelter
Over 18 years ago I was a baby Christian in a very violent relationship, and I didn’t know what to do. God was moving on my soul to leave the abuse, so that my beautiful daughter would be safe. A lady from my church took me to the Sheepfold and for the first time in my Christian life I felt very loved and cared for.
My daughter and I stayed in the original house. Miss Inez and Miss Mandy took such beautiful care of us. After 6 months we moved to Northern California. I went to college, and I have always told people how wonderful Sheepfold was to us.
Today my daughter is 22, healthy, happy, and on her own. I am single and work in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
I love you all so much and am forever thankful. God bless you all!!!

Preet’s Story
I cannot put into words how thankful and amazed I am being here and graduating from First Step. Before coming here I was living a very unfulfilled life, unhappy and unpeaceful life. I was so unhappy compared to how I am now. All the grace-filled, loving care we received from the House Managers was astonishing.
Jesus Christ gave me a new life, with peace in my heart and a happy spirit. I will never forget the journey that led me to Sheepfold and the wonderful time I spent at the house. God bless everybody here at Sheepfold for helping me to become a new person.
I am now looking forward to moving into Second Step, having my own apartment and moving forward in the plans that God has for me.

My son and I graduated from the Sheepfold in January. Although we have all of our necessities met, Christmas would not have been possible, without you!

The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability is the respected organization that audits non-profit corporations on a yearly basis to verify that all donations were recorded properly and were used for the purpose for which they were given, and requires a full financial statement for supervision by The Sheepfold Board of Directors monthly.
Membership in the ECFA is only granted to non-profit corporations who meet their rigid standards. We are proud of our long-standing membership in this organization. |
