Sheepfold Nights*
6:00PM – 8:30PM
“Sheepfold Nights” is a time when the women and children from all of our Orange County and Riverside County shelters come together for fellowship and support.
This night also welcomes women in the community who do not reside in the shelters, but are in need of support, guidance and healing from the abuse they once lived.
We meet on the first and third Saturday of each month at a church in the city of Orange.
We dine from 6:00 p.m. – 6:45p.m., and then break into groups from 6:45pm – 8:30pm. The women go to their support group and the children go to their classrooms. Fun games and creative crafts are scheduled for the children.
If you are or you know a woman who struggles with abuse issues and could benefit from this evening, please call the office for details.
Volunteers are needed during this time for set-up and teardown this is a great opportunity for men. Volunteers needed for childcare: infants, preschoolers, and crafts for children ages 6 to 11 years of age. This is a great opportunity for small youth groups and families to serve together and for high school and college students needing hours. |
